Catalytic Converter

My exhaust stinks like rotten eggs, and I was told my catalytic converter was the problem. I was researching for a while and learned it was in or by the exhaust. I found out that it would cost a lot to fix, so I wondered if I should just get a UUC exhaust rather than go through that hastle. Would this work or does the UUC exhaust have nothing to do with the catalytic converter. Thanks for your time and consideration.

UUC sells a "cat-back" system. That means you get all the piping (b pies, muffler, tips), BEHIND the catalytic converter.

However, www.tunermotorsport.com sells OEM cats that you can buy, for around 80 I think.
