Ive got a 98 328i. this morning the cars battery as dead so i got a boost. but now the car wont turn off even when i take the key out of ignition. please helpppppppp

since the car was on i took it to a freinds dads garage, but he pulled the fuse or soemthing and got it to stall. even with the keys out the dash remains lighted. he has some guy come in to check the electrical stuff so soon as i kno ill keep u guys updated.

yeah disconnnecting the battery was the best option. The other advice sounded too complicated for you....maybe it's a fail safe to prevent the battery from dying again!
