| Car will not start...
This has been really been confusing me. I have a '97 318ti with a manual transmission. A few weeks ago, the car just refused to start. It's getting power, battery is fine, just when I turn the key nothing happens. All the dash lights are on as normal. I checked all the fuses and they are good too. From all the research i've tried to do it seems like it's the clutch pedal switch I think? The brake fluid also looks clean and is full, no leaks under the car. The most annoying thing about it is that if I let the car sit for a day or two it will start no problem, but only once or twice then won't respond again. Outside temp and weather don't seem to be a factor either. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance =) |
