I have a 1994 BMW 325is and it will not start. The battery is new and the car turns over so the starter is working. When I go to start it the engine just keeps turning over again and again no matter how long I hold it. It is like it's not getting fire. I was wondering if it could the coil? Has to this happened to anyone here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
is your check engine light coming on when you put the key only on the ON position?
if not, then the relay that gives power for the DME< the cars engine computer might be bad.. it should be a blue relay under a separeta cover inside the fuse.. box..
if you need pics let me know..
and also, right next to it is the fuel pump relay.
whenever you put the key on the ON position and leave it there, you should here the pump functioning.. it wont be loud, but youll notice a little humming comming form under the rear seat, since that is where is located..
try the relays, if needed of more help let us know.
