Car Very Slow

sometimes when i take off, it feels like the clutch is riding or something, although it is fully out. although i have the accelerator fully down in first, it feels like im in 2nd or even 3rd. sometimes this 'lag' comes into play just before i let the clutch out, so i almost stall. what is the problem and how can i fix it?

Sounds like the clutch is slipping. Time for a new one.

If the clutch is slipping the engine will rev without the car pulling away as fast as it should and you'll need a new clutch. If the engine is dying as you try to pull away then you have a flat-spot and need to get the fault memories check (ask for the printouts)

yea, sounds like the clutch might be goin, try taking off slowly and driving carefully, does ur car catch gears after that?

ay, how much does it cost to get a new clutch put in?
and yeah if i start slowly it catches gears

new clutch kits are cheap, install is gunna rape u!

definitly the clutch slipping man, that sucks, i'm in the process of buying a new clutch as well, except i'm doing a conversion to an m3 clutch in my 325. That ought to stop the slip-age, lol. Good luck.
