Car Started Shaking When Idle Please Help!

Hi All,
I bought a used BMW(1998 328i 58719 Miles) last week. While driving on the 2nd day my Check engine light came up. When I went for inspection, the inspection failed due of the check engine light (Error Code P0442). I gave the car for servicing at Prescision Motors, NJ as suggested by the inspection station. There was a leaky valve in the evaporator control system which had to be replaced and I also did my oil service there.

Today i got my car back and while bringing back the car, the car started shaking and rattling at red-light and when the car was idling. The shakes begin slowly and gradually build up. Can anybdy please help me cuz i dont have a clue as to what to do.

The shaking wasn't there before you took the car in. I'd be questioning on whether it's the mechanics fault or not. So many mechanics out there, thinking you drive a bmw and that you're made of money.

yep, you got to take it to a mechanic you can trust. if i remember corrctly, one time i locked my keys out of my bimmer when i had my e30, and i asked how much it was, and they usually charge only like $35 dollars or something like that, but instead it was like $50 or $60, because he said it was a "BMW"

So, what is your advice? What do i do next? I was thinking of taking the car back to the mechanic and telling them the problem...is that a good approach?
