Car running rich

My car is a 92 325i and is running very rich. I have replaced the o2 sensor but that did not fix the problem. Is there a way to adjust the mass air flow sensor to correct the rich problem. Thanks a lot

how were you notified that the car was running rich? it would help me understand where to start

My brother told me it's running rich. When the car is idleing the check engine light for the o2 sensor comes on and stays on until I press on the gas. This happenes at every red light I stop at. Also at idle it shakes and I have cleaned the ICV several times. Thanks

running rich usually isnt too bad in terms of either lean or rich, what you can normally notice is a bit more black smoke coming from the exhaust. you may have to get some tuning done to solve your problem, another thing to check is if the intake system isnt in any way hindered (very dirty airfilter, kink in the elbow is sharp, etc)

I would still check for things like leaky hoses and the elbow at the throttle body for cracks and stuff.
