| I took my car in for repairs that were paid for by an insurance check made out to me, I am going to be sitting on a little extra and thought what the hell maybe it is time for a CAI. I have read so much information, but I have some questions.
Is there really a difference between the engine bay sealed off type(ecis, conforti, etc.) and the "true" cai(dinan, cosmos, benfer)?
I live in a place that gets alot of weather(snow, rain, sleet, ice, you name it we get it). So the dinan style worries me a bit with water getting in it. Also I would like to change out my headlights eventually and have heard that the intake may get in the way.
Need some honest opinions. I do not want to make my own, I want to buy a intake. I was all for ECIS and have heard good stuff but would I be better off with a Dinan or Cosmos type?
Also does the "sock" that you can put over the dinan/cosmos style intake work and does it restrict air flow?
