Car fogged up !?!? - BMW Forum

Alright, this keeps on happening. I leave my car in a car park and at the end of the day I come back to it and out of like 100 cars there my car is the only one with windows fully fogged up on the inside

usually on days that are a bit damp, but not always. sometimes nice sunny days too lol

is there some vent that could be blocked up or is my car leaking somewhere magically? well hope someone has some ideas, because it just looks silly.

this might sound silly but have you checked your carpet to make sure its not wet or overly damp?

the carpet is fine because when i replaced the whole carpet a while ago there wasn't anything wet underneath, so unless it got wet since

yeah moisture probably, but i've got absolutely no idea where it could be!!

im not sure of the procedure of the E36, but i know on my E30 it was quite a chore, practically had to remove the entire center console just to access it and sure enough it was all wet back there all around the heater core...changing it is fun

oh joy. if i only thought of this when i had the dashboard out. bugger it, i might just leave it. keep the car for another year or so and then upgrade. too many things going wrong atm on this baby

well if it is the heater core and it finally does go you will have one hell of a mess.....and its no fun

Is that near teh AC condensor, or compressor whichever one is almost in front of the glovebox? I was told that is the issue with my cars AC..

try putting one of those damp rid moister collector behind one of your seats for like a week and try and dry out the car.... i figure if the moisture is in the air enough maybe one of those would help...
