someone ran into me from behind.....some pathfinder.....my back bumper is messed up....i'll probably have to replace it...would the e36 4 door M3 back bumper fit on a 1994 325i 4 door...when the guys insurance company is paying for the damges...how does that work?.... they take a look at the damge then pay you the money of what they estimate it will cost...or u fix it yourself and send them the bill and they pay you back?......would my insurance go up eventhough i was hit from behind?...would they make me replace my back bumper with the stock bumper or can i replace it with anything i want?......i filled out the police report and all...i'm going to the doctor tomorrow....my back hurts and i got a head ache...i'll post pics of damage when i take them...prob tomorrow morning

depending on the insurance company you can send them the bill while others require an estimate first.

Your cost wont go up.

You can replace the bumper with something of equal or lesser value. An m3 bumper would be more, but you could pay the extra.

Well - if you don't behave entirely ethical and sue the guy's insurance company for physical and moral damages (may I suggest to get a lawyer for this dirty job), you get 5000$, which could probably cover not only M3 bumper, but an entire M3 engine and tranny installed Not that I'd do something like this myself.

yeah...i'm already looking for lawyers and shit....should i go to my doctor or the doctor the lawyer tells me to?....i called one firm and they sed go to to my regular doctor...but my brother sed not to.......idk.....if i sue him...meaning i'd have to go through therapy and shit...how long does that usally take?....is there any time limit i should wait b4 i pursue this?....i got finals to take...so i'm kind of busy....anyone here have a similar case and want to help me out?
