Since not all people are in the game of moding their cars... if your looking at them just to get a good BMW.. the 96 Z3 is probably your best choice.. due to its mileage... and year make and model...
just gotta figure out if you want a bigger or smaller car and just little things that are different per person but either of those I would say
think you will kick yourself later if you get the auto :wink
95k miles really isnt that high for a bmw, but the automatic just makes it awful.
its a toss up between the z3 or the 325i, depends on wat ur looking for. the 325 has a 6 cyl, while the z3 only has a 4. but the Z is (obviously)a lot sportier than a 4 door sedan. i might go with the Z3, but they're BMW's, you cant go wrong either way.
Good luck, I bought a 94 325is about 5 months ago and love it. I did not have any intention of doing mods, but now that I own it and look around this forum constantly it is all i think about. That is also real low miles for a 94. The fact that it is a 4 door sedan does not mean it is not sporty. It is still a smaller car. You said the 328is looks "alot better", is that because of door dings and such or color, because the coupe and sedan really are not that different? Hell, look at alot of the pics of peoples 4 doors on here i would say they look quite sporty and real good.
oh yeah, also you should check and see when last tune-ups are and such, i believe the next recommended tune-up is 70k miles
i like the 4 door, just the 328is had the sport package and everything, just looked a little more sporty.
but if i lower this thing a little and get a nice set of 18's it will look good.
im already getting rid of all the orange inserts with new euro lights.
what is the best chip. i see tons of options. the TMS looks nice and is only 250.. anyone run this and how safe is it.
how much difference is there from a k/n drop in to a full air intake setup. the stock airbox looks pretty good, and it looks like its efficient on keeping engine temps out. im sure i cold modify it and use a k/n filter and it would work fine.
this car is seriously mint though. 1 small dig on the hood and thats it. the inside
looks brand new. so far im happy with the purchase, i dont really like how it handles yet and it needs a little more power. All of that is easly fixable.
So you bought it already? Anyways, I would go for the 325. As far as te air intake setup, I am using K&N drop-in filter, but I am quite happy with driving my car stock (96 328i). I undestand there is a noticeable difference if you put in a CAI. It all depends on what you're looking for. BTW, welcome to the forum
