cant open boot/trunk on 318i

Hi anyone got any ideas on how to open the boot on 318i e36 4 door?, the key is turning in the lock but wont release the boot lid, also the remote wont open it but theres no access via back seat so cant get in to it at all.

I've heard of this happening before. Unfortunately, the only way to get to the lever that releases it is to punch out the ski-bag panel and try to reach it; that and I've heard of people drilling behind the license plate, although I wouldn't try that one.

The one time I had an issue, I was lucky enough to have folding rear seats, so it really wasn't that big of an issue at all.

ive tried that but the babys prams in there and i cant get to catch, typical!!, i thought there may be a lever somewhere
