I think 6.8 sec at the least. Add a NOS sticker to your windshield should boost it up and take a 1/10 of a second of ur 0-60. Hope that helps. Thanks, Super T.

he doesnt have it "YEt" but its got 165hp and he says it would beat my car beacuse its turbo i told him that was bull but he still thinks its fast its stock and the stock 0-60 is 8.3 as posted on consumer guide is there anyway that it is fatser than my car
Race him race him! The S40 is a pretty cool car - always had a sweet spot for turbocharged cars after my old Saab 900 - had 185 hp stock, but with an ecu swap, higher flow intercooler, and mbc, had it up to about 210-220. It's relatively easy to tune turbo-charged cars - no mucking about with cams and such - just more boost! You also get that cool sound of the turbo winding up - totally different animal.
Completely stock though - I'd think the Volvo and 325 would be about neck and neck. Stock an s40 has 170 hp - all wheel drive too I believe, it's about 100 pounds lighter as well.
no its not all wheel drive but i agree i love the sound of a turbo car its the best sound in the world but the car is at about 100,000 miles i say the turbo drained that enigne by now just my opinion though
hard to say without a race, ur car would have alot more down low,
"I mean off the line you would beat him", but as he spooled up, well as I say it is to close to call?, I actually like the S40 turbos, pretty cool little car, but I don't think he would have it, both cars are manual I assume?
Na shit thinkin about it now you sholud beat him with relative ease! I mean a car length or more. don't be fooled though they are a pretty quick little car, and probalbly around the same power to weight ratio's as the 325,
thanks man yea they are both stick that was pretty helpfulif he gets that car though 1st thing im gonna do is race him and video tape it and post it here itll be fun and im almost confident ill win will see i dont wanna be too cocky
Guys if you want a sound as good as a turbo without a turbo, plus a few more HP, put a K&N direct admission kit. set for nothing else.
You will a have a great sound at higher RPM only and 7HP more for your BMW 325
