Can i upgrade the diff?

i need to replace the diff on my euro 320i, i seem to brake the standard one every 4 months, can anyone tell me if i can put any other diff on the car from a bigger engine car (325i) and would it be any better.

are you talking changing you differential to a differnt gearing? i dunno if theres a bigger diff (so to speak) but there is different gearing.

what mods hve you done to your car? seems odd that you asrer breaking diffs... do you have a full race clutch? are you doing 5000 RPM launches all the time?

i havent done too many mods, just a CAI and a de cat system.

I often launch from quite high revs and drive quite hard most of the time.

What difference would it be if i put a 325i diff in instead?

Go ahead and make the jump to an M3 LSD, If you break that, your doing something wrong.

5000 rpm launches are hard on EVERYTHING. Engine, clutch, transmission, axle, diff, transaxles, U-joints, guibo....

What do you mean... "break"? in LSD's, the clutches wear out if your drifting\burning out all the time, so if that's what your talking about then just get new clutchpacks.
