Cai Warnings

hey guys,

ive never had a modded car and this is the first time with my 325is. basically ive heard stuff about CAI messing up in water...my dinan cai goes all the way to the bumper, any tips or saftey advice from keeping my car from messing up? also, what will happen to it in the snow? in the rain? car wash?

Do NOT hit any puddle you think might be deep as you risk hydrolocking your motor. THe rain and carwash are probably going to offer no problems, but If you wash underhood, bag the filter first.

Speed Infusion....I also have a Dinan CAI. There should be a cover that protects the cone. With that said, you should have no problems washing your car, rain, or snow. Just try to stay away from big puddles. Ones big enough for water to get into your driver's side brake duct. That would be pretty frickin' deep too!
