Cai - Diy Or Not?

So I'm wondering if it is a better idea to make a CAI on your own, (does anyone have directions?) or if its better to spend like 250 on one of these name brand ones? Pros - Cons?

BTW, i have a 1992 325i, Automatic.

Any help would be appreciated!

Fkn . Also, the cai's that already exist will be better tuned anyways. I would recomend the DINAN CAI. The CF pipe provides extreme insulation for the air going in. It's not worth the $449 they sell it for, though. Ebay it...

how exactly do you tune a CAI> hahaha it may be built with better metal, but for the Hp you get out of it its not really worth the 300+ dollar mark, if you are talented i say build your own
