cai and a chip

Do I need to get my car chiped after I add my CAI. I already have a Supersport exhaust. Will the CAI still give me the benefit with out the chip?

you don't need it, but it is a for sure hp gain and it improves everything when you have the exhaust and intake on as well..... but like i said, it's not a neccesary thing, but a definite mod...

you stand to gain more power from a chip anyway.

The chip and cai don't necessarily go together, but you will feel alot more power with the chip. I would definetly recomend getting one.

Michael, would you mind putting up a spec list for each chip for comparisons between them. I also will be looking into getting a chip(software) for my m3 here somtime in the spring.
