Cabin filter(s)

OK folks this one has me a little confused. 1995 325i, Alldata shows two filters, one in the cabin for the A/C and one under the cowling in the engine compartment. I got into the dash and could not locate the inside filter and looking at the underhood area of the blower couldn't see the heater filter(s) either. Anyone replaced these filters and if so can your provide some illustrations? Pics would be great.

Thanks for the illustrations Marti. I got in there yesterday and after all that the filter looks to have been replaced recently. Must have been done just prior to us buying the car.
