had no blower motor so i had to change the final stage unit. while i was doing this i also changed the cabin filter. it was definitely a PITA since i had both sides of the dash apart to get to these parts. i would not have been able to change these parts without the DIY forums on this site, so thank you to all of you that take the time to post.
THANKS!
Chuck
My climate unit was flickering on/off for a month and now it works perfectly except now there isn't much air coming out but it's still gets warm. Should I replace the filter or? I already checked the fuse to heater fan.

the cabin filter shouldn't have anything to do with your climate unit flickering, but it will definitely help with airflow. changing it isn't too hard,
just follow the post on this forum. good luck, and let us know if you find out what is with your climate unit.
I was going to send it into have it repaired but I've been procrasinating. Thankfully it's working now especially with temps dropping to 20 degrees in Seattle.
