C33 radio blanks

Can anyone help me my C33 radio will go dead intermittantly. When it does come back on line it request the code.
It appears I have a power supply problem but where. Any one experience this and know where to look.
I can repair it myself as I did with the common dimming display.
Thanks

Loose plug?

Did you pull it out and just check the plug and wiring behind it? Do you have the code for it? If not the dealer can get it for you with proof of ownership. I've got an old one I pulled out of a '97 you can have if you want it, but really, they're a POS head unit and you'd be much better off just replacing it with an aftermarket Alpine or something like that. You will hear a night and day difference in your sound system simply swapping out the head unit. But there's a ton of C33 head units on Ebay for about $10. The more desirable one is the CD43, but they're as pricey as a better aftermarket unit.
