A/c Problem

I purchased a 99 328i and it runs great. I have had a problem with the A/C unit recently. I had the temp. sensor replaced at the dealership and they said that it needs a whole new system to the tune of 2799.99. I only paid 6000 for the car. The a/c goes hot when you are sitting at a light or stopped but the minute that you drive over 30 miles an hour the a/c goes cold and now problems untill you stop again. I am tiring of running red lights to keep it cold. Ha Ha

check ur auxiliary fan operation. i think it isnt working right

the logic is A/C systems need to maintain airflow for cooling the condenser... that is the reason why you say u achieve cooling at 30mph.(u have airflow at 30mph)
