xshellacx n00b Join Date: Dec 2008 Car: Posts: 1 Photos:	C.e.l great forum I have a 2000 328. car runs fantanstic, but the chk engine light comes on periodically and stays on for sometimes months. Is there a way to reset it? Apparently according to California DOT, the chk engine light is an automatic SMOG test fail. I need to smog the car now and don't really want to spend money on a car that is running perfectly okay. Thanks in advance. JP
