ok, so im driving to work, i turn on my ac and it works just fine, i turn it off for a while, then when i try to turn it back on, nothing happens, well i can hear the compressor (i think thats what its called) but no air blows out, at all!

are you saying that there is no air flowing through the vents- or that its not cold? Sounds like if there is no air moving at all, your blower is faulty. could be the resistor or maybe the climate control unit.
no air at all, if i turn my ac on, th eonly thing that happens is the compressor kicks in, the 2 green lights on the ac unti come on, and thats it, no air out of the vents
