a/c dead! please help

ok, so im driving to work, i turn on my ac and it works just fine, i turn it off for a while, then when i try to turn it back on, nothing happens, well i can hear the compressor (i think thats what its called) but no air blows out, at all!

are you saying that there is no air flowing through the vents- or that its not cold? Sounds like if there is no air moving at all, your blower is faulty. could be the resistor or maybe the climate control unit.

no air at all, if i turn my ac on, th eonly thing that happens is the compressor kicks in, the 2 green lights on the ac unti come on, and thats it, no air out of the vents

Check your fuses. If I remember correctly, you were having some auxiliary fan problems. A faulty fan may have blown a fuse you need for your A/C.

hmm....why do i awlways forget the fuses, gonna go do that right now, also a friend said something about a blower resistor? anything else i can check?

EDIT: ok, so it was a fuse...changed it, ac works like a charm now, thanks DRZ, i always to forget to check the damn fuses

hell yea, here in texas having your ac working is not a choice...its a necessity

Which fuse was the culprit? You may have to look into this problem a little bit deeper, just to be safe.

i dont remember exaclty right now, but it was one of the air conditioning fuses, a 30 amp one
