god damn, i havent had my front license plate for over a year now and finally got the strip that says BMW, and the first day i drive with it i get pulled over by this chunky cop ghead and ever worst i had to peel off my damn tint oh well i only did the driver side, guess ill get it back in the summer... ugh so frustrating, cops = n

front license plate, he said because the camera fails 70% of the time since everyone doesnt have their front license plate on, but damn i havent had it for over a year and the first day i put on my strip i get pulled over! and i had to peel off my tint ;( poor tint

You should have offered him some advice....... To trade the donuts in for some rice cakes......... I had the same thing happen in my truck. I had to peel my tint off of the front windows. Having it on the back is fine here for some reason.

i still think the cop is just being an ass, i mean i always pull over next to other cops and they dont do anything, and after handing me the ticket he said "happy holidays" lol i thought that was funny but still fuked up!

not always, atleast around here, worked in the beginning but everyone had that great idea, and with polica video tape etc it doesnt always work
man that really blows that you had to take the tint off. that cop must have been one real ass, he is probably just mad that he is fat.

im in cali i would think 40-50% not sure though but that dumbass cop said you CANT have ANY SHADE OF TINT on your front windows, no exeption is what he said, only back is ok

in california, its legal to have anything on back sides, and back.
nothing on windshield, and as for the front sides, basically nothing... i have the legal amount, which doesnt really do much and you cant tell that its really tinted... it pretty much serves as uv protection.
