Buying a bmw

Hello everyone, just sold my rover tomcat turbo, and now i plan to buy a bmw, i hope it can live up to my rovers standards. I have been looking around on the net but i cant find a site with some good bhp and 0-60 figures, i know the 318se is 140 bhp, and the 320 is 150 bhp (i think), i just wanted to know if anyone has any good sites where all the figs are listed ?

ok so far i think i am going to go for a 325, is this the best choice?, for instance is there more than one version of the same capacity engine that is improved. Basically i just want some advice on what the best type to go for is because sometimes a particular engine is superior over another. Like for some reason i know the 323 is more economical than the 320, is this because it was released later ?

Anyway id appreciate you guys and girls giving me some tips on what to look for when im buying

First off, to the forums.

IMO, the 328 is the best of the e36 3series cars. It's much improved torque in the M52 2.8L is very apparent when compared to the 2.5L

I would have to agree with Jilphan here, unless you can spring the extra cash for an M3, the 328 makes the most power of any of the 3 series. You'd be surprised how much more 'grunt' it has over a 325.

cool, ill have to check the insurance differences between the 2, living in the u.k. insurance is really high. What about fule consumption, are they pretty much the same ? Any major advantages between the 2 other than power ?

Another thing, i have some rims 205/40/r17, i think ofset is 38, will they fit on a beemer?
