Buying 95 325is - What to look for???

I'm selling my golf and upgrading to a 95 325is! (finally)

What are some of the common things I should look for in a high mileage e36?

make sure the water pump has been replaced with a metal one.
always make sure you run a carfax before buying a car

Guys asking $9,800 for a 95 325is with 260kms.... (says it's been driven so easy it's on the original clutch) He bought as a demo 1yr old and has records from a local BMW dealer.

What would you pay for this vehicle in good shape?

That sounds a bit pricey. I wouldn't pay more than $9,000.00. See if you can talk him down a bit! :P

JESUS. Do not pay more than $6,750. That is way too high, no matter what the mods, if any. I would seriously consider a different car or a low offer like $6,500.

I think he means $9,800 Canadian, he's from my area.

It's quite high milage so I'd say that's the max I'd pay for it. However, if it's not in the best condition, look elsewhere.
