Private Party Value Search Local Listings for This Car $3,575

Private Party Value is what a buyer can expect to pay when buying a used car from a private party. The Private Party Value assumes the vehicle is sold "As Is" and carries no warranty (other than the continuing factory warranty). The final sale price may vary depending on the vehicle's actual condition and local market conditions. This value may also be used to derive Fair Market Value for insurance and vehicle donation purposes.

its pretty amazing with these cars if you think about it....... (wear and tear aside) you can land a 325 for basically a quarter of the price of my 328 and 90% of the population would never know it if both cars where kept the same.

Remind the guys that to fi the sunroof on the dealer it costs some 1200 as told here on this forum..
of course after buying the car, you can get the parts, some 200, and DIY and get a perfectly working sunroof, 200 buys you all the little crap that wears and brakes, so pretty much you rebuild the sunroof,

ive done it, and is not a biggie.

KBB listed my car at around $7,000 in the condition it was in, I scooped it up for $3,500, the sunroof also does not work (all the way) it opens about 4 inches, think you can help me out with that Victor Gallas?!?! A link or something would be great, the previous owner said something was just stuck in there and stopping it but, iono....

Sorry man, i dont have a lonk or anything, since when i removed the sunroof i did not take pic during the job. But it pretty much consisted of pulling the headliner off, then the sunroof cassete, and then, on a large table, dissasemble the cassete, clean it and then reassemble using new sliders and cables and all little hardware that tends to crakc.

ANd i did not find any info on how to do this on the web, the only place i found it was at the BMW TIS cd, if you look under sunroof repair info, and studying it, youll understand how the mechanism works and that its not a bigggie to replace..

Im sorry i dont have pics or links man, but sunroof is one of those things that there is little info about it on the web.,.

Just get the Bmw ETK and Tis cds, study the procedure, get the parts and then put the cassete in front of you on a large table, then read the TIS info and youll get it fast, just dont be afraid. And worse comes to worse, you can always pick up a working sunroof cassete form a junkyard, then just swap it in and replace the exterior metal cover to the ones of your cars...

anyway hope you have a good one with the car,,
any more info let me know.
