BUYING A 325is NEED SOME HELP - BMW Forum

heyhey bimmerwerkz people. I am in need of some advice. I found a 325is avus blue with 36k on it.. the car is absolutely beautiful and is sitting on some ac schnitzer rims (not all too sure which ones though). the guy is asking for $18k.

big question... is it worth it? lemme know... the car has been sitting in this dealership for quite some time so i guess im not really on a time basis.

what year is it? And what options? And there are "Replica" Schnitzers out there, so be careful. If it is an E36, $18,000 seems kind of high to me, even for a 1999.

i would assume this is an E46 he is talking about, but you never know.. If not the latest year the car could be is a 95. And even tho that it has insane low miles 18K is way too much. A later year M3 with 50K mi. would only be a little bit more..

[FONT="Tahoma"]sorry for being a bit vague in my description. its a 1998 325is with the light grey? i beleive interior. it has 36k original miles and has every option (sunroof 6 disc cd changer yadda yadda). its avus blue has some rims and is lowered. it also has some sorta lip on it.. not all too sure what though. i'll try to swing by the place and get a picture soon. thanks for the help people...:lol:

There was no 325is in 1998. There was a 323is and a 328is. According to Edmunds and Kelley Blue Book in my area, The 323 should be dealer priced from $12,300 to 13,500. The 328 should be priced from $14,500 to $15,600. That is with every option offered that year and in excellent to outstanding condition. These are just guidelines, but they should give you some idea of price.
