Bumping Noise In Front Wheel

Like when i turn, it feels like this like knocking noise is coming from my front wheel?
not sure what it is, i drive a 325is, 94'

I only really notice it when i turn the wheel really fast, and i feel it on like my foot near the brake pedal, like that little plastic ramp, I put my foot on it, and i feel it


could this be my brakes? maybe some old ball joints kinda popping or something cause their old

it doesnt seem to be affecting steering or anything?

4 things to check or have checked out...

1. the suspension bushings...they could be worn and cracking
2. the strut assemblies...you could have blown the strut
3. wheel bearings...
4. Control arm...

It may not affect your handling now, but if the problems persist, it eventually could. With a knock sound, how often is it and under what kinds of circumstances (hit bumps or potholes, only when turning, etc)?

Sounds like it really could be something with the struts if anything in my opinion...

any back up on this fellas?

is that like hard/expensive to replace, it only seems to happen when I turn, or like if i hit a pothold on my left side?

You should take it to a mechanic a let them find out what the problem is. Then u just get the parts yourself and do it urself.

The last time I had to replace wheels bearings was on the right front on my wife's Subaru Legacy and it was $220 CDN.

Have your mechanic ride your car around the block. He should be able to confirm that, before you shell out any money.
