I don't have much experiance with BMW bulbs, so far I have bought just the oem ones from the dealership. In my past cars however, there were a few things I discovered that would be worth noting. I got blue colored bulbs for my headlights in a ford focus, some cheap $40 pair at an import show at cobo. As it turns out that they exposed the headlamp encloser to a much higher temperature then the stock halogens, and as a result they melted the inside of the fixture so bad that they both had to be replaced. Also, I know in Michigan - and I think for the rest of the U.S., it's illegal for your turn signals lights to be any color other then orange (clear corners are ok as long as the light itself is amber.) I would suggest going with a white turn signal (argueable...), or just keep an amber bulb. Also, check out this post for more info on buying lamps.

P.S. Sorry for the bad grammer, I'm a bit hungover.
