That is F**** up. Who did that? I'll be mad as hell. ask them what parts and if not to your satisfaction tell them what parts you want. Hell you pay for it and remember that the insurance company always tries to make money and stiff you if they can with lesser parts.
ya... just take it to the bmw dealership! if your insurance is covering it then take it to a few different bmw shops, maybe not the stealership and you'll get an average and that's what the insurance company will probably give you. But either way you'll get the job done right if not from the dealership then a bmw specialist shop...
damn... that sucks... id take it to the nicest shop in town, get an estimate then take it to a regular dealer, get them to fix it, then keep the money from the nicer shop... also id tell the jackass who threw the beer bottle that my insurance didnt cover it and hes gonna have to pay for it... i always look at it as the bright side of things... its like a bonus on your paycheck! haha
no idea who did it, wish i knew but yeah, shit happens! the insurance have a compay who is contracted to them, so i take the car there and they do the work and i never see any money! I'll ask them if they'll use bmw parts and if not ill complain to someone. thnx guys...

dude u know we have our antenna for our car radio in our rear windshield...u have to get a BMW rear windshiled
yeah i know, i dont see how they'll be able to fit another random one in there anyway. wouldnt matter i dont think, as long as the amp is connected to it, i mean wire is wire.
they used a 2nd hand bmw rear windscreen and new seals because i threw the old ones out when i cleaned the car :d so glad i did, they were kinda rotten after 13 years of shit weather. the job looks really good and the screen must be newer than my old one. i guess something good finally happened out of something bad!
oh and i never knew the top two wires of a rear windscreen were used for the aerial, i thought it was the whole heating wireing.
