I need new tires, and while I love my mxv4+ tires, they aren't rated as well in the snow. I cam across the turanzas and they seemed to outperform the michelins in every category, especially snow. I need a good all weather high performance tire, and I think this is it.
Anyone used it? The size I'll be getting is 205/60/15.

I don't know much about snow tires, but I will say that Bridgestone is one of the best tires out there. I still think the Bridgeston RE-71 was one of the best ultra performance tires I've ever owned. And that is saying a lot.
Michelin is like Bose IMO. Not bad, just overpriced.
BTW, my roomate just put Turanza's on his MB E320 and loves 'em. Mostly comfort, but you can actually "play" a little...
I'd like an ultra perfromance, but, hey, i mean, come on. its a 318. on 15s.
Once I'm in NY I'll need something with decent snow traction, but I still want great dry traction and cornering stability. Long tread life is also important, which the turanza appears to have.

I run turanza for every day driving and they are superb tires. So far there are 37xxx miles on them and they are still in very good condition. Snow handling is okay, I survived the WI winter easily(with the help ASC). IF you are not a good snow driver, I would suggest blizzak tires for the winter. They are cheap and are made specially for winter/snow driving.
PS: don't even think of ultra performence tires, unless you have a solution for winter first.

Umm, that is not a good solution Kev. Plus, IMHO your car will be fine in winter, I rememer from the older post, you have decent tires and you shouldn't have any problem. KEEP in winter. No excuses .
I'm not worried about me, I'm worried about my poor wittle car in the HS parking lot. they're HORRIBLE drivers there. So if there's snow on the ground I'll get a ride to school. Or I'll go and make the shop teacher let me park in the garage.

Sears didn't have any turnazas in stock, but they did have 50HPs, which didn't look too bad. I'm going to research them now and see how well they match up to the turanzas. Sears has a 30 day test period, so if I don't like them I can exchange them. Tomorrow will be the handling test. Theres a great U turn connecting I-75S to I-85N that is rated at 25 I normally took at 40-45 without a noise from the michelins. If the 50HPs match that speed, I'll keep em. If not, they're gone.
