Brake wear light still on......

I had my breaks changed but my break wear sensor light is still on. Am I gonna have to change the sensor or what to get this light out?

Yup, change the sensor and it goes out. Be careful though, I broke a couple and was pissed so I just put them out of the way so I don't get the error in the lights.

P.S. You may probably wish to actually install them, I opted to not have them on cause I check wheels rotors and pads quite frequently for the average owner.

its not altogether good to rely on these sensors alone....

a lot of us already know that there are only two sensors, one each on the front driver side and on the rear passenger side. hence, if you got a stuck caliper piston on the side where no sensor is placed, then you might just get your rotors damaged without even noticing it until its too late.

right, kevin, its always good to check on brake pads and rotors often.

Thanks alot guys. I think I am just going to remove them all together cause I do check them often and the sensor is a little steep in price to be replacing everytime the light comes on.

WAIT.

You'll still need to attach new ones, but just zip-tie them up and out of the way on the struts. Otherwise your light will stay on.
