brake pedal breathing..... help!

so i replaced my brake pads and rotors today. did it myself for the first time. when i was done, i took her for a short drive, depressing the brake pedal and pumping it occassionally.

i however noticed that whenever i step on my brakes i hear a sound like when you exhale through your mouth (slightly open).

is this usual? or is it just my brakes giving a sigh of relief after the makeover? used:

If the car is stopping fine it sounds like you may have a vacuum leak to the brake booster...check vacuum lines (worst case the diaphram in the brake booster could have failed and the whole damn thing will have to be replaced)

AND PS you should bleed your brake system every 2 years (the fulid like any fluid only stays good so long)
