BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE ON OBC>

I have a stock 1996 328is and this "BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE" Keeps coming on my OBC. There are no tail lights out and I have replaced all of the bulbs and it still comes on. It comes on randomly and moreso when the temp is above 60F. I have heard the there is a switch under the dash a person can replace that has been posted before. PLEASE HELP>

hi and welcome , this is a very common problem for our cars, im gonna add this to the FAQ forum soon... you may wanna check the contacts on the taillights.(contacts -where you put the bulb in),, see if there is a bad contact somewhere thats the first place to start

theres already a faq that ski did...i replaced the the button behind the break and its been fine ever since
