Brake light error!

hey I have a 94 325is, and occasionally when I am driving and hit the brakes my computer will display a brake light error. All the brake lights work still, does anyone have any ideas what this could be? Its been doing it for a while so it doesnt seem serious but i guess i should try to fix it before it becomes serious! Thanks for any help!

that happend to me a few weeks ago, the manual told me to look 4 burnt fuses in the fuse box but i couldnt find any. the next time i turned on the car everything was fine, so i guess it just needed some attention

This is common w/ '94's, mine does it also and the fix has to do w/ the switch..I'll find a link somewhere around here to post up..

ya my '92 3251s does that too, it goes on and then goes off. i checked the fuses and everything but i don't know whats up w/ it
