Brake Light Circut - Not Cured

This is the second time that I have asked a question regarding the fault display on the center console dash of "Brake Light Circut". I just want to say thank for the positive responses before.

I have replaced the Brake Light Switch under the dash at the brake peddle and I am still getting a intermitent "Brake Light Circut" fault display.

My car is a '99 323is. The ower before me purchased OEM (Factory) M3 tail-light housings and other BMW OEM (Factory) body parts to make the car look like a factory M3. Is it possible that the tail-light housings could be also causing the fault to be displayed or is it just related to the brake light switch? There are no bulbs blown and they are the correct wattage and amperage bulbs for the housings. I am just not sure where else to look for the possible problem to cure. Even with the fault, I still have all brake lights operating and voltage to all 3 light sockets. Very confused and looking for help?

I would suspect an unreliable electrical issue in the housings; I'd start with the ground connection(s)
