$1,500 not $2,000 for brembo. and they don't come with fronts and backs.. just fronts... your going to spend upwards of 5-10k for all 4's on a big brake kit..

I was also looking into cheaper more cost effective kits then getting a 4 or 5k one, even though I don't have the car yet just doing research. I'm not sure what car you have but this if for a 325is
It's a 325is, but could the brakes of the 325ic also bolt up to a 325i? Anyone know if this works? Looks like it might almost be worth while if you could find the calipers cheap off a wrecked 325ic. Just wondering what you guys/ girls think about this.

Take my advice and leave your brakes alone. Instead get some Brembo Slotted Rotors and Portor Field brake pads. That is the best setup of all time. You can even ask around.
Now as for the brake kit dilemma. BMW brakes are very good, their calipers are high performence and made to last long. If you were to upgrade, either upgrade to BREMBO or OEM M3 Brake kit. Either of these are gonna cost you upwards of
6-7k labor included. Personally, those setup are only recommended for people who will do some serious track-time and plan on moding to more than 300hp.
Don't get any other than BREMBO or OEM M3 brake kits, beacause you will lose quality and money at the same time.
M3 Brake kits require minor rear suspension work to fit properly. Also, any other series brake kit will require rear suspension work to fit in properly and still won't be worth it unless you are going to M5 8 calipers one.
PS: don't get drilled rotors, get slotted only. Drilled ones are not recommended for daily driving.
aahh yes the 300 hp remark i guess since you are a noob u havn't yet learned that my machine is going to have 700 hp, no matter what the cost so i that case i think that i will need some aftermarket brakes

LOL, 700 hp car and you are worried about the cost of the brake kits. Makes me wonder. I don' wanna imply anything else, as I am being polite.
