BMW specific OBD II codes: Anywhere?

Just got a OBD II code reader which gives both the generic codes and codes used by specific vehicles. The code reader comes with a booklet that gives the generic fault definitions, but not those used by specific vehicles. I can't seem to find a list of the codes with their definitions used by BMW. Anyone know where a complete list of BMW specific codes might be found?

Hey Gator,

I found this site. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and type your code into the input field and hit enter.

Hope it helps,

Mojo, what is the web site? Also, Gator, does your OBD scanner clear the oil service and inspection lights? If so, where did you get it? I'm just wondering if I should get the Peake code reader made specifically for the BMW or just get a regular scanner from Autozone.

Mojo - Thanks for the links. Hope I never have to use them.
I got the Equus code reader from JC Whitney on sale for $99.

It reads and clears all OBD II codes but I don't think that it will reset the inspection lights though I haven't had the occasion to try yet. I believe you have to short two pins on an electrical plug under the hood for that, but there are several DIY links on that and it seems easy.
I didn't get the Peak model because I want to be able to use the reader on several different cars and it seemed that the Peak tool was only for BMW's.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I might get a regular fault reader also, to be able to use on other cars.

There is a tool that I believe is also from peake that the sole purpose is to reset service and oil inspection lights for about $40. Check the various websites around or you can do it for free if you look up the DIYs around.
