I'm looking at getting some interesting OEM trim peices for my car... I was first thinking of doing the door trims and instead of the ///M badge, I was going to get the BMW Motorsport International badge. Then I saw ///M Clubsport (and there are also door sills with this marking)
Its not a writen law.. but it sure is typed that says you shouldnt put an M badge on a non-M car... people get upset... as long as the driver knows its not an M.. A car is what a car is.. nothing more.. or nothing less...
The ///M trim pieces came on the 325 M sports and on the 318ti M sport. The clubsport was another 318ti trim package consisting of some cloth seats and some nifty badges with not the M bumpers.
The normal ///M trim should find, the other clubsport most likely will not because the 318 has a different interior and body.

I'm new to this forum, and I have a 318ti. Before I even noticed it, one of my guy friends asked why my car said //M on it when it wasn't an m3. I didn't konw how to reply but later found out that it was a "sports packaged" car. So cool! haha Still seems like a VERY VERY EXTREMELY slow car. But...i've grown attached to it!
People, don't be ignorant. Fully read my post. I said I didn't want to use the ///M that came stock on M3s... Those that see my postings, know I'm against fake M3s.
I thought either the Clubsport or the Motorsport ones would be unique.
Back to my question, which no one who posted answered (except Kevin, but I didn't understand):
What's the difference? Was the Clubsport an special edition M3?
I guess I should be shot then.......HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !
