Push the light button in and slide the light out w/ your thumb to seperate it from the actual key. Then you will see two small tabs at 12 & 6 o'clock. Use a pen or some equivalent to push in one of the tabs while prying up. It's that simple

anyone know where i can get a battery and a light bulb for the key?

the bulb is a LED, your going to need to soder for that, but they battery u can buy at any electronics place.. just gotta get the right 1... bring the bulb with you, and they will help

on the older cars, it's not an LED. it's just a very small light bulb...and a VERY odd battery. Good luck finding one. I just said f*** it and use that as my "spare" key.
