BMW E36 Starting Problems

Hi have a 95 318 Compact with a 99 328i engine conversion which I did a year a go and it has ran for 9 months and then strange things started happening.
1, It wouldnt start when it was warm or hot (after a run) but ran fine when cold. Now its got worse, turns over but not firing with no spark, its got fuel coming thru and the pump is working fine.
Iv changed the Crank sensor and the ECU and re sync the EWS to it and no joy. I also put my ECU and EWS plus chip on to my mates 328i and fired up with a turn of a key.
Iv also changed engine wiring loom but still no joy.

Please help, im at a loss.

How's your battery doing? I'd get it checked. Remember to have your radio code handy if you have a stock head unit.

What's an engine wiring loom? Not familiar with that term over here.

Battary is good. Sorry, Wiring loom - Wiring Harness which is part of the ECU.
