Hey Everyone,
I am about to buy some bavarian autosport sport springs for my BMW e36 328is. Are they just as good as eibach and h&r springs? Are they compatible with Heavy Duty Bilstein shocks? What is the lowering height of the springs as well? Will I need camber plates?
If someone could answer these questions that would be great.
I had some on my 318i. They lowered the 318 MUCH more than they said. The car started rubbing on the front right when more than 1 rotation of the wheel left. They will replace if it happens, but you have to buy new and then get a refund or take them off of your car and ship back. The handling was ok and the ride was pretty decent for how much lower it was.
Hey Ian, the H&R Sport Springs are $229 @ Tire Rack, the bavauto springs are $224.95.....the average lowering for the bavauto springs were 1 1/4..The H&R Sport Spring 1.5" to 2.0".
I went with the H&R Sports because I knew they would not affect my camber....I have absolutley no complaints about these springs. Check out the specs on all 3 H&R springs in link below:
