well, what year m3 you wanna get? They had differences and changes through the e36 years...it probably is faster, better engine, differential, suspension, etc.

great choice...first off, its ODB-I=better management, better tuning from aftermarket chips. I would definitely get an M3 over the 328...both are great cars, but the M3 you will be getting a nice little bit of extra power. The 95 m3 claims 240hp at the flywheel from a 3.2L engine, while I believe the 328 gets about 190hp out of a 2.8L engine...the numbers speak for themselves...Get the M3, you won't be disappointed

If you're attached to you car just do the OBD I conversion. Then you get lots of parts to change for suspension the way you want it.

The 95 M3 (OBDI) doesn't have the 3.2 liter engine. It's the 3.0. The 96-99 is the 3.2 (OBDII).
