BMW 328i Drift car

Hi Guys,
I am wanting to sell my existing FWD car and buy a RWD car. I have looked around and got to the point that BMW is the best option.

My options are either E36 325i or 328i.
For me Hp is important, although the both models above offer a same HP(192), the 328i has a lower 0-60 according to different sources, don't know why ? do u know why ?

apart from that what is important is I want to ask you guys as a owner or someone who had experience with BMW the following questions,

Is BMW a tough car and can it stand pressure of drifting in ur view if it is used as daily and occasional drifting car ?

Would u see me doing a wise thing by selling my 2004 car and buying a BMW which was made in 1996 or something ?

finally any thing that you can share with me about BMW, specifically 328i will be much appreciated. thing such as running cost and ...

btw I am planning to remap the ECU so it should yield 210 HP
