| friend has a 92 6 banger with 230k miles on it, still runs very well with regular maintainance.
figure that if you take great care of the engine by changing fluids regularly, swapping out worn parts and such, the engine will take you far beyond 300k. better than what say a new cavalier will take you 100k!
