bmw 325 1993 no power to ignigition

1993 325i e36i had a aftermarket alarm installed a main ignition wire touched ground i seen smoke under dash at ignition the car cut of i tired to start the car i got no power to ignition but the interior lights windows work i tested the b+ jump post in the front for power i got nuthing but when i run a wire from the battery to the ignition positive then turn the key the car turns over i checked all the fuses their all good i cant figure out why no power from the main from the battery to the jump post which distributes power to the fuse box i need help bad

I think a complete electrical overhaul is needed.
