BMW 323i STP oil treatment.

hi i have a 1998 bmw 323ic and i bought some STP oil treatment and i just wanted some thoughts about if i should put it in my oil or not. i use 5w 30 mobil synthetic oil and the car has 131,000 miles on it. I heard it had a slight tick that comes and goes and i thought that the stp might help. any ideas or experiences on stp oil treatment?

NO ! Simple as that...
You have the lower spec M52 unit in there, please don't use third-party crap in her...
If you are considering it, then you might as well drop a kilogram of sawdust into the sump, Sorry for the rant but I hear many stories about PTFE and they're equivalent disguises where the engines lasted no longer, and sometimes expired quicker.
Just give her a good service mate... If she has 0w/30 in now, try 5w/30 next time (slightly thicker)...
Use a top shelf motor oil ;-)
