3-Series (E36)Chat relating to the BMW 3-Series from 1992-1999. Autodoodad
Specific models include: BMW 316i, BMW 318i, BMW 318iS/ti, BMW 320, BMW 323, BMW 320, BMW 324, BMW 325, BMW 328.
sounds very unusual 0-100 sounds way out of spec. and 97 hp sounds way off, you may be running on 4 clyinders or something, even HP rating to the wheels wont be 97.
no 6 cylin only!!!!!!!!!!!!
about the 97 HP you have to add friection loss , aerodynamic loss , rolling loss
so it will be higher
pu what about the 15 sec
I have a 92 320i I6 running Bosch P+4 plugs and i get to 100KMPH in way less than 15secs. U sure he doesnt have any other issues with his car. THe gas mileage is also superb for the performance

how do you factor any of this?? how did you come up with the magical number 97hp without a dyno , which does not measure drag co. or any sort of friction loss, if any at all slight rolling friction against the dyno wheels, which is very minimal.
honestly it sounds like his car has some serious problems.
well about the 97 HP and 15.2 sec i am using a G-Timer
which i have tested on other cars and it gave very fare resualt except for this 320i
one question is it possible that this power loss is due to the 235/45/17 alloy wheels????
and i notice one thing alse that the air pressure in the tyers i think its less than what it should be!!!!!!!
the g-tech is not accurate at all. All you have to do is think about it, can you really read the cars specs through the cigarette plug? If you take the car downhill the g-tech will tell you the quarter mile was done in like 10 sec. Its crap don't go by it.

bigger heavier wheels wont decrease power at all, it might lose a very little bit of quickness due to more wheel mass, but nowhere near anything like that

Yea, back to the topic.......
digital, can you make a video when doing the 0-60 or 0-100km/h? When it takes really 15 sec there is something wrong with your car.
BTW, how do you do that? Revs to 4500 and clutch up or...? Give me info!
