Bmw 318is Wild Idle

heY EVERBODY, if you read the topic labeled HELP 318IS FUEL FLOOD, youll know whats going on with my damn car, its on the second page of the e36 topic board, well i took my intake off, the top part, and took out a bunch of fuel from the intake runners, so i replaced a bunch of cracked hoses and cleaned a lot, i replaced the dme, so when it was ready to start it took a lot of cranking, but it started, it drives fine but when your not accelerating when the engine should drop to idle. the engine will idle crazy from 400-1300 rpm, i put all the hoses in the correct location when reassembling, anyway it is the idle control valve? please help me i have a hot date tommorrow and i would like to take my car!!!

could be the ICV or fuel injectors or fuel pump. I get this problem from time to time if I have let my car sit for several days. I know it is either my fuel pump, fuel filter or injectors. But to fix the problem, I go to the nearest interstate on ramp with no traffic and floor it up to redline till I shift to 4th. Get off on the next exit ramp, turn around do it again and the idle is rock steady afterwards. Is it the best fix? Nope, but it works for several days. I think I must be getting dirty gas from time to time or have some gunk in my gas tank.... or both..

thanks for the help, it was gas in the oil, when the gas was ithe combustion chamber it leaked out into the pan, now the idle is beautiful thanks for the help
